I came across this project earlier tonight and thought it might be of interest.
The Japanese Garden was originally developed at Cowden, near Dollar in Clackmannanshire, in 1908 by Ella Christie of Cowden Castle, before being handed over to her great nephew Robert Stewart. The garden was vandalised in 1963 and had fell into disrepair. Now it is to be restored by Professor Fukuhara who has offered to plan and direct the restoration at a reduced rate.
